The school is situated about 5 Kilometres from the city centre in Mainway Meadows a suburb in Waterfalls in the Capital city Harare. Currently we have a total enrolment of 480 pupils and a staff compliment of 19 teachers. We have classes from ECD A up to Grade Seven with two streams of classes per grade with a teacher-pupil ratio of 1:20 and 1:32 for ECD and Grade One to Seven respectively. The school strongly emphasizes on a holistic approach to education that is academically, socially, spiritually, morally, physically and emotionally enriching.

The Dominican pillars of study, Prayer, Community and Service which mirror the life of Saint Dominic makes Mother Patrick Convent a school with a difference. Since 2010, the school has been a beacon of academic achievement with our pupils showing a rare appetite for academic excellence and thus, being awarded the Harare provincial merit awards for being the school with the best ZIMSEC GRADE SEVEN RESULTS for 2014 and 2015 respectively.

I welcome you all to Mother Patrick Convent Primary School website. There is always a beginning for everything. This website will introduce you to a one hidden but well known Catholic school in the beautiful piece of land in Waterfalls. Can you imagine, the school was built at a place that was formally a stable for horses and everyone wondered what would become of that dilapidated place. It was even difficult for some of the parents to enroll their children with us since there was no sign of a school and no indication of any developments around.  Today, as I look at the school, I cannot stop admiring the beauty around the school, the genuine smiles from the little angels learning there, the dedication and hard-work of the teaching and non- teaching staff. Above all, I marvel at the commitment and zeal of our Management Board and the SDC committees and more so, the unwavering support of our parents. Together we have built this school and enhanced its beauty in all our giftedness and uniqueness.

As a mission school whose responsible authorities are the Dominican Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, we offer holistic education to all children from different angles of life.
